New in the Internet : ". Anything You Want"

Are you tired about the .com, .net, .org, .etc? Well here's the good news about it Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers ( ICANN ) now opens the .anything you want domain address. They now allow suffixes named after political cause, brands like .ipad of Apple, hobbies and anything you want.

This is one big change on the Internet world since it was created in 1984. These new suffixes will only be established by late next year or later than that. If we can avail the normal ".com" for only less than $10 a year, I tell you this, the cost that would make you on acquiring the new ".anything you want" is $185,000 for application and $25,000 yearly payment. A big WOW for an address. ICANN will accept applications starting January 12. They say Apple will go for ".ipad" and ".iphone" for their products and Canon Inc., as ".canon".

Another milestone on the internet world, but I think this will progress but in far future.
